Oil painting opens a whole new world of artistic opportunities and has remained one of the most popular artistic mediums. The versatility of oil paints are endless with number of colors, textures, and effects. Oil paints continue to be a popular medium because of the endless potential when it comes to experimenting with wetness and drying times.

Pencil Sketches

Pencil is one of my favourite mediums of drawing. This magic material has been around for thousands of years. The word “pencil” is thought to have both a Latin and French origin. Latin word pencillus, which means “little tail.” and from the French pincel, meaning “little paintbrush.”

My passion for design has led me down to many avenues. I have always wanted to explore all aspects of drawing and painting both traditional and digital. I finally took the leap when I came across the iPad Pro. Digital art requires no less skill than traditional art making, but requires a different mode of thinking to give it the same unique look as traditional art.

The iPad Pro with its pencil gives you the same feel as drawing with a regular pencil when it recognizes attributes like tilt and pressure applied to the tip. I believe in a compromise by combining digital and traditional art to expand the mediums and artistic experience.
